Much more than just a podcast or interview series, Mark Lang ‘Out To Sea' is an online film series and filmed podcast created by Australian singer/songwriter and filmmaker Mark Lang. This series is set in his home town of Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale in Regional Victoria.

The series explores creative practice, place, songwriting, storytelling, touring and the business of making a sustainable lifelong career in the arts. 

Episode 3 features Sarah Blasko - one of Australia’s national treasures. I’ve always been drawn in by the power of her performances and her deeply evocative songwriting. Our conversation dives deep into her practice across her albums and explores the recording of her award winning album ‘As day follows night’ along with much more.

Sarah is a three-time ARIA Award winner, Triple J Album of the Year Awardee, as well being three-times shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize.
