I wanted to reach out and let you know I am finally launching my solo release on the 16th of May at the Melbourne Recital Centre, along with a bunch of dates around the country. We had such an incredible time at Recital Centre last year for my first single launch they've invited us back to launch my first solo work on vinyl & CD in May as part of a run of shows. The vinyl and CDs will be only available exclusively at these shows and will not be released into stores/digitally 'till July. The other big news surrounding these shows is that the incredible German artist ‘Lilly Among Clouds’ will be coming out to Australia to open many of these launch shows. If you are able to join us please make sure you arrive early to check her out. Lilly is an incredible singer/ songwriter and I know you will love her. BIG NEWS : I Launch my solo release at The Melbourne Recital Centre on May 16. I can’t wait to return to this beautiful theatre with my full animation show. I will be joined by incredible special guest  ‘Lilly Among Clouds ‘ all the way from Germany.  Limited tickets available so get in early to avoid disappointment. Full tour dates coming next week. This weekend I am headed to the glorious Port Fairy Folk Featival.  This is one of my all time favourite festivals and I am looking forward to sharing these new songs with you all..

PICTOU LANDING FILM - BACKSTORY

BOAT HARBOUR Accessible only through the woods / gated road. I was taken on a guided tour to see where the mill discharges their pulp waste. Boat Harbour, located in Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada was originally used by Pictou Landing First Nation people for fishing, hunting and recreation. In the 1960’s an effluent treatment facility was constructed to discharge the Pulp Mill's waste into boat harbour. The First Nations people were promised this would not effect Boat Harbour or their way of life. Within days of operation all aquatic life died rendering it completely unusable. Boat Harbour is now polluted with mercury, dioxins, furans, chloride, and other toxic heavy metals The current owners of the mill Northern Pulp / Paper Excellence Canada are pushing to extend the use of Boat Harbour past the legislated closure date of 2020

The Mill has been granted multiple extensions since 1995. After 50+ Years of pollution and broken promises. "Boat Harbour must close on schedule, January 31, 2020. We expect nothing less.” - Chief Andrea Paul, Pictou Landing First Nation.

Stoked to announce I will be returning to the glorious @woodfordfolkfestival . Woodford is one of those truly special music/art festivals that is jam packed with beautiful programming and audiences alike. One of my favourite shows of all time happened at Woodford a few years back and I’m looking forward to returning this year. You can tell a lot about a festival by their poster art and I love this years art by Artist Gavin Ryan - It’s going to be a special one this year.

Port Fairy Folk Festival 2019

I am thrilled to announce I will return home to the legendary @portfairyfolkfestival in 2019. PFFF was the first major festival to believe in my songwriting and has been a place of deep inspiration and friendships over the years. It is always a special weekend of incredible music and has marked many key moments across my career. I look forward to coming home and sharing this next chapter with you all.

This is a little film of my time at the festival. It was a deep privilege to play my first UK performance at such a legendary festival.
